El interés por realizar este trabajo, se suscitó a raíz de las inquietudes que generaba el poco impacto que el proyecto de democracia tiene en los estudiantes y como este es un simple requisito que las instituciones deben cumplir ante los entes veedores de su buen funcionamiento. Este tipo de ejercicios derivados de las competencias ciudadanas se encuentran estrechamente relacionadas con el poder democrático que todo ciudadano emplea para dar a conocer su decisión de elegir personas idóneas que los representen. Esta investigación se presentará a través de tres capítulos, además de la introducción y descripción de las actividades llevadas a cabo durante el año lectivo 2013 – 2014 a cargo de la autora y el equipo docente del proyecto. La figura del personero y el ejercicio de su elección, nos conduce a una realidad inmediata, como lo son las elecciones en nuestro país, donde escogemos a los representantes de las localidades y esperamos de ellos, una buena conducta y la preocupación por el bienestar de sus electores; así mismo, los estudiantes manifiestan sus preocupaciones porque los personeros cumplan sus promesas al ser elegidos en la institución educativa.Work degree of specialization in education, culture and politics, in which the author seeks to assess the impact that generates democracy project on students within the educational establishment, Colegio Santa Isabel de Hungría Ciudad 2000 and as it is, hold the citizenship of students skills. The interest in this work, was raised in the wake of concerns that generated little impact that the democracy project has students and as this is a simple requirement that institutions must comply to watchdog bodies of its proper functioning. This type of exercises derived from the citizenship skills are closely related to the democratic power that every citizen used to publicize its decision to choose suitable persons representing them. This research will be presented through three chapters, as well as the introduction and description of the activities carried out during the 2013-2014 school year in charge of the author and the teaching staff of the project.
