Por tal razón, en el segundo semestre del 2013 y primer semestre del 2014, se realizó un diagnóstico participativo con enfoque mixto cuantitativo descriptivo y apoyo cualitativo, a través de la encuesta y el estudio de casos en el municipio de San Vicente del Caguán; con el objeto de identificar el grado de violencia escolar en los cinco establecimientos educativos oficiales seleccionados para esta investigación: rurales La Sombra, Campo Hermoso, Los Pozos y urbanos Dante Alighieri y Verde Amazónico; para la comprensión de esta problemática se tomó en cuenta los postulados de Dan Olweus y la teoría de Albert Bandura, Olweus aportó criterios para poder identificar aquellos comportamientos violentos entre estudiantes y Bandura desarrollo la teoría del aprendizaje social. El diagnóstico arrojó entre otros hallazgos que de los 455 sujetos intervenidos en los cinco establecimientos educativos existe violencia escolar 38%, violencia en el hogar 31% y violencia social 21% para un promedio de 30% que es alto y amerita ser intervenido por las autoridades competentes a través de un Plan de Atención Integral conformado por Programas de Promoción, Prevención, Atención y Seguimiento para minimizar los porcentajes de violencia escolar encontrados en estos establecimientos educativos.As researchers and future professionals in psychology, was the need to investigate one of the problems that daily grows stronger in our society especially in children and adolescents: School Violence. For this reason, in the second half of 2013 and first half of 2014, a participatory assessment was conducted with a mixed approach, descriptive quantitative with qualitative cooperation, through the survey and case study in the municipality of “San Vicente del Caguán”; in order to identify the extent of school violence in the five official educational institutions selected for this research: rural “La Sombra”, “Campo Hermoso” and “Los Pozos”; and urban “Dante Alighieri” and “Verde Amazónico”; for the understanding of this issue was taken into account the principles of Dan Olweus and Alber Bandura's theory, Olweus provided criteria to identify those violent behaviors among students and Bandura developed social learning theory.
