description	En este artículo se reflexiona sobre la inoportuna prestación del servicio de salud a las víctimas de accidentes de tránsito, planteando un contexto en donde la salud es un derecho fundamental del ser humano que goza de garantías jurídicas donde se protegen otros derechos y principios constitucionales como la dignidad humana y la vida. Se identifica que es una de las bases fundamentales para el desarrollo integral de las personas y por esto mismo goza de características como la inalienabilidad e irrenunciabilidad garantizando así el acceso a todas las personas a los servicios de salud de forma oportuna y eficaz sin discriminación alguna.
