Para la investigación en Universal de Hierros E.U se tomó el informe financiero (balances y PYG) para poder realizar un análisis y poder presentar a la gerencia recomendaciones sobre el modo en el que invierten su dinero. Por otra parte se hicieron observaciones a su proceso operativo, obteniendo tiempos, costos, mano de obra, materia prima, y demás variables que influyen en el proceso, con esta información se hacen los cálculos de pronósticos con los diferentes métodos pero se elige trabajar con el de suavización exponencial pues es este método el que permite tener en cuenta el crecimiento o decrecimiento de la demanda. Por otro lado en las estrategias de producción se aconseja la de mano de obra constante pues analizando la capacidad disponible de la empresa frente a la demanda se obtiene que la empresa no trabaja al 100% de su capacidad por lo tanto no debe contratar a nadie más, ni contar con servicios de outsoursing ya que con su capacidad todavía puede seguir trabajando, además siendo lo más económico. Para terminar a la empresa se le dan los indicadores de gestión que servirán para medir el desempeño de los diferentes departamentos de la organización |
