Se estudió la postura de Stuart Mill, Immanuel Kant y Karol Wojtyła respecto al problema planteado, se realizó un análisis crítico de cada uno de ellos y se concluyó que con base en las ideas de Mill sí se puede buscar la felicidad sin afectar la moral y la ética debido a que el ser humano tiene facultades superiores y su felicidad está conectada con la de los otros, por ello buscará el máximo placer para el mayor número de personas pero no por cualquier medio sino respetando la moral.
