description	El propósito de la investigación fue diseñar las estrategias y prevención para la gestión del riesgo químico en el Centro Comercial Unicentro Cúcuta con la finalidad de prevenir los accidentes laborales y establecer las condiciones de seguridad y salud en las actividades administrativas y operativas dentro de las instalaciones, La muestra objetivo de estudio fueron 28 trabajadores que tienen interrelación con productos químicos, aplicando los estándares mínimos que posee la resolución 0312 del año 2019 para un diagnóstico frente al avance del sistema de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, otra herramienta fue la aplicación de una encuesta de precepción frente al riesgo químico a los trabajadores del centro comercial, además de la elaboración de un inventario de los productos químicos y del uso de la guía técnica colombiana (gtc 45) para la evaluación y valoración de los riesgos relacionados con los productos químicos y adicionalmente se utilizó el sistema de comunicación de los riesgos que plantea el sistema globalmente armonizado (fichas de seguridad, etiquetas de identificación, matriz de compatibilidad). Se identificó con la evaluación de condiciones iniciales que el sistema de seguridad y salud en el trabajo en su ciclo PHVA se encontraba en un promedio 90%, de acuerdo a esto se analizaron los riesgos no aceptables que son los relacionados con la manipulación de los distintos agentes químicos, posteriormente se elaboró la identificación y evaluación de los riesgos y peligros derivados del uso de los agentes químicos ( por inhalación, material particulado, irritación cutánea) e incluso que pueden poner en riesgo la estructura física como lo son inflamables, corrosivos, de oxidación), los cuales permitió determinar las medidas de control y prevención del los peligros derivados del uso de agentes químicos.

The objective sample of the study was 28 workers who have an interrelation with chemical products, applying the minimum standards that resolution 0312 of the year 2019 has for a diagnosis against the advancement of the occupational health and safety system, another tool was the application of a perception survey against chemical risk to the workers of the shopping center, in addition to the preparation of an inventory of chemical products and the use of the Colombian technical guide (gtc 45) for the evaluation and assessment of risks related to chemical products and additionally, the risk communication system was used.
