En este contexto, el Cuerpo Lúteo (CL) cumple una función clave en la regulación del ciclo estral y en el mantenimiento de la gestación, siendo su funcionalidad dependiente de características morfológicas y hemodinámicas. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la dinámica y relacionar los parámetros morfométricos y vasculares del CL en bovinos, mediante el uso de ultrasonografía Doppler color. La investigación se desarrolló entre junio y julio de 2024 en una localidad mexicana, con 18 vacas cruzadas Bos taurus × Bos indicus, bajo iguales condiciones de manejo. Se seleccionaron animales con condición corporal de3 a 4 y presencia de cuerpo lúteo o folículos ≥8 mm. Se realizaron mediciones ecográficas postovulación de área, volumen, diámetro y área de irrigación del CL, utilizando un ecógrafo Doppler color SonoScape E2. Los resultados evidenciaron una regresión progresiva del CL. El área disminuyó de 2,91 ± 0,35 cm² (día 8) a 1,97 ± 0,50 cm² (día 17), y el diámetro de 18,6 ± 0,27 mm a 15 ± 0,4 mm en el mismo periodo. El volumen se redujo de 3,94 ± 0,41 cm³ a 2,4 ± 0,62 cm³. La vascularización presentó una dinámica fluctuante, con un aumento al día 13 (0,61 ± 0,47 cm²) y posterior descenso al día 17 (0,44 ± 0,75 cm²). Estos hallazgos confirman la utilidad del Doppler color como herramienta para evaluar la funcionalidad lútea en programas reproductivo. In this context, the Corpus Luteum (CL) plays a key role in regulating the estrous cycle and maintaining pregnancy, with its functionality being dependent on both morphological and hemodynamic characteristics. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the dynamics and correlation of morphometric and vascular parameters of the CL in cattle using color Doppler ultrasonography. Animals with a body condition score greater than 2 and the presence of either a corpus luteum or follicles ≥8 mm were selected. Post-ovulation ultrasound measurements of CL area, volume, diameter, and vascularized area were performed using a SonoScape E2 color Doppler ultrasound device. Data were analyzed using correlation statistical tests (ANOVA). The results showed a progressive involution of the CL. The area decreased from 2.91 ± 0.35 cm² (day 8) to 1.97 ± 0.50 cm² (day 17), and the diameter from 18.6 ± 0.27 mm to 15 ± 0.4 mm during the same period.
