Dopamine also regulates hippocampal theta and gamma oscillations, which are involved in novelty and memory processing. We found that, in adult male rats, ORM recall in the presence of a novel object, but not in the presence of a familiar one, triggers hippocampal theta-gamma coupling. Hippocampal theta-gamma coupling (hPAC) does not happen when ORM destabilization is prevented by blocking D1/D5 receptors, but artificial hPAC generation during recall in the presence of a familiar object enables the amnesic effect of reconsolidation inhibitors. Therefore, hPAC controls ORM destabilization, and its modulation could increase reconsolidation-based psychotherapy efficacy.Ciencias Médicas y de la Salud6 papplication/pdf10.1101/lm.053482.121.1072-05021549-5485https://repositorio.udes.edu.co/handle/001/7390engUSA61129ScopusLearning & memory (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.)© 2022 Gonzalez et al.; Published by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press.info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAtribución-NoComercial 4.0 Internacional (CC BY-NC 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cbhttp://learnmem.cshlp.org/content/29/1/1Reactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta–gamma coupling during recallArtículo de revistahttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/ARTinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85Todas las AudienciasPublicationORIGINALReactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta-gamma coupling during recall.pdfReactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta-gamma coupling during recall.pdfapplication/pdf264644https://repositorio.udes.edu.co/bitstreams/a7117445-26db-4a4c-82da-e73acac3444e/download04e5b16799dc6edea2cabe8f9fb8d821MD51LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-859https://repositorio.udes.edu.co/bitstreams/d524a321-842a-4310-bbb5-30d2c287335d/download38d94cf55aa1bf2dac1a736ac45c881cMD52TEXTReactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta-gamma coupling during recall.pdf.txtReactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta-gamma coupling during recall.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain5https://repositorio.udes.edu.co/bitstreams/a0b6f814-4b70-4177-88b9-d85071ac0910/download5dbe86c1111d64f45ba435df98fdc825MD53THUMBNAILReactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta-gamma coupling during recall.pdf.jpgReactivation-dependent amnesia for object recognition memory is contingent on hippocampal theta-gamma coupling during recall.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg8713https://repositorio.udes.edu.co/bitstreams/e8a7dd84-fc55-4c99-9b4e-80e11608f4b7/download6c7ab5fb40aa80aa6d8a7c513f62002eMD54001/7390oai:repositorio.udes.edu.co:001/73902023-10-10 13:03:15.912https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/© 2022 Gonzalez et al.; Published by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press.https://repositorio.udes.edu.coRepositorio Universidad de Santandersoporte@metabiblioteca.comTGljZW5jaWEgZGUgUHVibGljYWNpw7NuIFVERVMKRGlyZWN0cmljZXMgZGUgVVNPIHkgQUNDRVNPCgo= |
