Summary: | TALMA COLOMBIA, formerly called Lasa, is a family company created in 1991, belonging to the aeronautical sector, whose mission is to meet the needs and requirements of different customers through safety, quality and compliance in operations; for this it has more than 1,500 highly qualified employees, having presence in 19 airports in Colombia, offering services in passenger care, ramp care, care for passengers with disabilities, aircraft washing, internal cleaning of aircraft, loading and unloading of aircraft. Services are provided to different airlines such as Avianca, Viva Air, Copa Airlines, Latam, Aeroméxico, Iberia, Jet Blue, Jetsmart, Wingo and Tampa Cargo. In 2007, the training service was incorporated, which consists of training on airlines, airports, cargo agents, customs agents and security companies, training its own personnel and others from companies in the sector. The training offered by TTS includes courses required by the aviation authority, IATA courses and other courses of interest. As part of the portfolio of integral training services, Talma Training School offers scheduled courses, as well as tailor-made courses according to the needs of each client, with the objective of providing the support they require to continue growing as a team and company. In this and in any organization, the remuneration process plays a very important role, since it produces a direct effect on the satisfaction, sustainability and motivation of workers; through it, we seek to develop in the collaborators their individual contributions, potentials and commitment to achieve the objectives of both the company and the worker. In this order of ideas TALMA has been implementing the norms and concepts inherent to the processes of payroll and social benefits, in the measure of the same growth that the organization has had. Likewise, it has successfully developed a quality management system that includes procedures, instructions and tasks aimed at supporting the work of professionals and technicians in the compensation area in this field. The payroll and social benefits process is also at a good level of automation, achieved with the implementation of an administrative and financial information system called Queryx 7. Nevertheless, the management of the system and the settlement of payroll and social benefits are concentrated in one employee (administrative assistant and/or analyst) and this has generated a great dependence both in the management and knowledge of the software, as well as in the efficient execution of these processes. The development and growth of the organization implies to advance tasks tending to optimize the current process, this project seeks to propose to the company a documentary tool that integrates and updates the payroll liquidation procedures standardizing the process in all the bases, achieving effectiveness and efficiency in the processes. |
