Summary:Colombia has important sectors where flowers are produced for export, such as Antioquia at the departmental level, which is the second largest exporter of flowers, and in the east of the country, there are municipalities with a high concentration of flower-producing properties such as Rionegro, El Carmen de Viboral, La Unión and La Ceja del Tambo. In this document a tour of the flower sector in Colombia is made from the most general level and deepening adequately to more specific factors, inserting analysis of the behavior and evolution it has had, main achievements, strengthening of processes, negotiations and formalities that have allowed the current greatness of Colombian floriculture.
