Caracterización de los artesanos de El Carmen de Viboral

El Carmen de Viboral is a municipality in Eastern of Antioquia, recognized for being the Cradle of Ceramics; This activity has allowed the development of economic, technological and commercial activities and, where the greatest success of artisans has been the development of collective knowledge, which reflects their cultural values and expresses their identity; it is a rich historical process that has not been much explored. There is a need to characterize this profession, which is related to the cultural heritage of the region, to develop strategies to safeguard the communities and present plans for their evolution. The research was quantitative, descriptive and transversal design, the universe, which became the sample of 26 workshops, a survey was applied to managers, administrators or owners, which consisted of 24 questions, which were tabulated and analyzed.
