In it I  distinguish between the easy problems and the hard problem of consciousness, and argue that the hard  problem eludes conventional methods of explanation. I argue that we need a new form of nonreductive  explanation, and make some moves toward a detailed nonreductive theory.application/pdfengUniversidad de CaldasDerechos de autor 2011 Discusiones Filosóficashttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/discusionesfilosoficas/article/view/615Consciousnessfunctional explanationprinciple of structural coherenceproblems of consciousnessnonreductive explanation.Conscienciaexplicación funcionalprincipio de la coherencia estructuralproblemas de la conscienciaexplicación no reductivaUna relectura de “enfrentando el problema de la conciencia”The problem of consciousnessArtículo de revistaSección ArtículosJournal Articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a8559192912Discusiones FilosóficasAkins, K. “What is it like to be boring and myopic?”.
