El fenómeno de la "akrasía" descrito como: actuar en contra del propio mejor juicio, ha sido objeto de debate en varias ocasiones, cuestionando si es real o no la posibilidad de su existencia. Un autor como Donald Davidson desarrolla en su teoría de la acción una respuesta que evidencia que dicho fenómeno, en efecto, es real. No obstante, a su teoría se le escapa una explicación compleja del motivo por el cual la persona actuaría en contra de su propio mejor juicio, ya que su teoría solo permite describir cómo ocurre, pero no se ofrece un por qué. En ese sentido, la propuesta de este trabajo, consiste en llevar más allá la teoría de Davidson con el aporte psicológico de la Teoría social cognitiva esbozada por un autor como Albert Bandura. Analizando las estructuras cognitivas internas del sujeto, como lo son la autoeficacia, la autorregulación y el marco referencial que se le atribuye al determinismo recíproco. Además, reconociendo que en las acciones que son causadas por un juicio que no es el mejor para el agente intervienen los mecanismos de Desentendimiento moral. |

An author like Donald Davidson develops in his theory of action a response that shows that this phenomenon is, in fact, real. However, his theory fails to provide a complex explanation of why a person would act against his or her own better judgment, since his theory only allows describing how it occurs, but does not offer a reason why. In that sense, the proposal of this work consists of taking Davidson's theory further with the psychological contribution of the Social Cognitive Theory outlined by an author like Albert Bandura. Analyzing the internal cognitive structures of the subject, such as self-efficacy, self-regulation and the frame of reference attributed to reciprocal determinism.
