Summary: | This article presents a series of reflections on architecture based on the testimonies of two teachers who studied and worked at the old building of the Instituto Pedagógico Nacional and the current building of Universida Pedagógica Nacional. These reflections will be accompanied by a number of images that are complemented by part of the history that took place in this space and that shows how inhabiting that space is perceived, the teachers’ relationship with it, their experiences there, and how studying and working there influenced or not some of their life decisions regarding their academic career. These stories, along with those of other graduates of the school and some of the university’s current students are part of the work on school architecture that the authors develop as a teaching practice in the Colombian Pedagogical Museum of Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. |
