This study proposed to describe the students’ responses to the use of a set of activities based on the principles of Multiple Intelligences in order to overcome the speaking anxiety as well as to identify the role that those activities play to improve the speaking skills. Consequently, data collection instruments such as interviews, questionnaires, field-notes, artifacts, and recordings were implemented in order to gather evidence throughout the process. Besides, three cycles were designed in order to undertake the pedagogical intervention in which students were able to be involved in the activities proposed; in this sense, it was possible to analyze the findings by triangulating the data collected. The findings revealed that the activities based on the multiple intelligences’ principles helped students to find different ways that they can implement in order to overcome speaking anxiety.PDFapplication/pdfspaUniversidad Pedagógica NacionalLicenciatura en Español e InglésFacultad de Humanidadeshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Acceso abiertoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2reponame:Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacionalinstname:Universidad Pedagógica NacionalMultiple intelligences principlesSpeaking anxietySpeaking skillsMultiple intelligences principlesSpeaking anxietySpeaking skillsMultiple intelligences: a way to overcome speaking anxiety and improve speaking skillsMultiple intelligences: a way to overcome speaking anxiety and improve speaking skillsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisTesis/Trabajo de grado - Monografía – Pregradohttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1finfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionAlseed, A.
