La Competencia Comunicativa Intercultural se ha convertido en un componente relevante a la hora de desarrollar las clases de inglés como lengua extranjera. Sin embargo, el papel de esta competencia ha sido abordado de manera superficial, y para cambiar esta visión -o empezar a cambiarla-, es importante comprender el verdadero contenido y sentido de la misma. Así, el propósito de este documento es presentar el diseño de una propuesta de innovación pedagógica y didáctica que pretende fomentar la Competencia Inicial Comunicativa Intercultural a través de textos multimodales con contenido cultural. Esta propuesta está dirigida a estudiantes de undécimo grado cuyas edades oscilan entre los 15 y los 18 años de edad de colegios públicos de Colombia. Después de analizar varias investigaciones realizadas no sólo en Colombia sino también en el exterior, se pudo determinar la situación problemática. De esta manera, se diseñaron nueve unidades didácticas que se llevarán a cabo durante 18 sesiones para cumplir con el objetivo de esta propuesta didáctica. Con ellos se pretende proporcionar a los profesores las instrucciones y el material para orientar la aplicación de la presente propuesta. |
