Initially, students struggled with speaking and expressing themselves in English, accompanied by low motivation. To address this, the project implemented the creation of videos using the school’s audiovisual approach, Communication and Media, to enhance oral skills. This method revealed that visual and auditory resources expand students’ self-expression in EFL contexts. The task-based language teaching (TBLT) approach guided the process, enabling students to develop oral skills through pedagogical and audiovisual activities that culminated in video production. The results indicated that audiovisual projects support English learning by fostering personal identity exploration and enhancing communicative abilities, which in turn broaden opportunities for self-narration.application/pdfengUniversidad Pedagógica NacionalLicenciatura en Español e InglésFacultad de Humanidadeshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 InternationalHabilidades oralesProducción audiovisualIdentidad personalAuto - NarrativasAprendizaje de lenguas basado en tareasOral skillsAudiovisual productionPersonal identitySelf - NarrativesTask based language learningNarratives of identity : strengthening EFL oral communication skills through TBLT audiovisual creation.Tesis/Trabajo de grado - Monografía - Pregradohttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1finfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisAbdallah, M.
