Para esto, se trabajo con una muestra de niños nacidos extremos prematuros (menos de 29 semanas de gestación) y de bajo peso al nacer (menos de 1500 gramos). Se tomaron medidas cognitivas, sociales y sociocognitivas, teniendo en cuenta las características físicas y personales de los niños (edad, sexo, peso, estatura, perímetro craneal y riesgo biológico al nacimiento). Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que los prematuros tienen mayores dificultades en las funciones ejecutivas, son percibidos por sus pares como menos agresivos e hiperactivos y más sensibles /aislados.
