Mi ViejoGuiones cinematográficosCinematografíaMateriales audiovisuales359 páginasMi Viejo is a feature film script that narrates the communication failures that a father and a son may have as a result of the difference in sensibilities, visions and interests. It is based on the relationship between Jorge, a father who was once a romantic in his youth, a cab driver, with a fervent passion for classic cars, and Felipe, his son, a studious, sporty, romantic young man who makes him realize what Jorge was in the past and who, through the construction of a car and various family situations, allows him to understand what is really important to him: his girlfriend. The objective of the script is to illustrate the difficulties of communication that the father's role with his children can present, since it is a very common and difficult phenomenon to understand because it is incredible how something as close as a child can differ in many aspects with a father. In addition, it has happened to all of us in life; there are countless times that at some stage of our lives we have felt misunderstood by our parents due to differences in interests, attitudes, beliefs, or points of view.Mi Viejo es un guion de largometraje que narra las falencias de comunicación que un padre y un hijo pueden tener a raíz de la diferencia de sensibilidades, visiones e intereses. Todo se basa en la relación de Jorge, un padre que alguna vez fue romántico en su juventud, taxista, con una fervorosa pasión por los automóviles clásicos y Felipe, su hijo, un joven estudioso, deportista, romántico quien le hace dar cuenta de lo que Jorge fue en el pasado y que por medio de la construcción de un carro y diversas situaciones familiares le permite comprender y entender lo que es realmente importante para él: su novia. El objetivo del guion es ilustrar las dificultades de comunicación que puede presentar el rol paterno con sus hijos pues es un fenómeno bastante común y difícil de comprender ya que es increíble como algo tan cercano como lo es un hijo puede diferir en muchos aspectos con un padre.
