Twenty-eight documents were analyzed, revealing persistent gaps in menstrual education, cultural stigmas, limitations in access to hygiene products, and deficiencies in health infrastructure. Este estudio presenta una revisión de alcance sobre la salud e higiene menstrual (MHM) en América Latina, con el propósito de identificar el estado del conocimiento, los principales retos y las oportunidades en la región. Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática en bases de datos científicas y literatura gris, siguiendo la metodología del Joanna Briggs Institute y las directrices PRISMA-ScR, incluyendo estudios publicados entre 2010 y 2025 en inglés, español y portugués.
