| Summary: | This study presents a scoping review of menstrual health and hygiene (MHM) in Latin America, aiming to identify the current state of knowledge, the main challenges, and opportunities in the region. A systematic search was conducted in scientific databases and grey literature, following the methodology of the Joanna Briggs Institute and the PRISMA-ScR guidelines, including studies published between 2010 and 2025 in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Twenty-eight documents were analyzed, revealing persistent gaps in menstrual education, cultural stigmas, limitations in access to hygiene products, and deficiencies in health infrastructure. |
