Obbink, se ha podido determinar que la relación entre la obra de Safo y la Heroida XV de Ovidio es más estrecha de lo que se pensaba, pues el papiro transmite un nuevo poema en el que son mencionados Caraxo y Lárico, hermanos de Safo, de los cuales, el primero es referido por Ovidio en su epístola.
