Description
Summary:The principle of safeguarding the anonymity of a person is essential to ensure respect for freedom of speech. This is because in certain cases, said principle makes it easy for the speaker to reserve its sources, omit the identity of the person subject of a news report or even maintain its own identity a secret. In this sense, the principle of safeguarding the anonymity of a person can operate as grounds for excluding the criminal, civil and social liability of a speaker when he is accused of violating the constitutional rights to privacy, good name and honor a person. This essay explores the jurisprudential overview of this principle in Colombia.
