La oscilometría de impulso (IOS) prueba que mide la resistencia y reactancia de la vía aérea es una herramienta útil para el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la enfermedad respiratoria y no requiere maniobras respiratorias forzadas, se requieren valores de referencia para cada grupo poblacional dependiendo de las características locales. Objetivo. Determinar los valores de referencia normales de la IOS en niños pre-escolares en Bogotá en la prueba pre y post broncodilatador y establecer sus ecuaciones de referencia Métodos. Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal se incluyeron niños pre-escolares sin enfermedad respiratoria que asistían a jardines infantiles de la ciudad de Bogotá entre noviembre de 2013 y noviembre de 2014. A estos niños se les aplicó un cuestionario de enfermedad respiratoria modificado y se seleccionaron 96 niños aptos para realizar la prueba según criterios para estudios de valores normales de la ATS/ERS. Resultado. La variable independiente más influyente en los valores de parámetros de IOS fue la talla, con una disminución de R5 y R20 al aumentar la talla y un ascenso de X5 al aumentar la talla. Conclusiones. Se determinaron los valores de referencia normales para niños de 3 a 5 años sanos de Bogotá para la oscilometría de impulso antes y después de la aplicación de 400mcg de salbutamol.
