Método: Se realizó una revisión de la literatura de Ciencias de la Salud, con enfoque selectivo en el área de Enfermería, en las bases de Datos: Proquest, Ebsco, Science Direct, Ovid, Pubmed y Biomedcentral, Md Consult. En total se identificaron 2078 artículos, y de estos se seleccionaron para el análisis 56. Resultados: Los métodos de crianza y medidas de afrontamiento familiar establecidos por los padres de niños diagnosticados con Trastorno por déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad, se basan en las medidas farmacológicas, terapéuticas y sociales, para ayudar a la crianza efectiva de sus hijos, y el adecuado desarrollo social, familiar y escolar de los mismos, las cuales son de abordaje preciso y especifico del profesional de Enfermería; con el papel fundamental de asesorar a las familias acerca de la complejidad del TDAH, los diversos métodos de tratamiento e intervención, además de los que los padres ya establecen, disminuyendo así las consecuencias que trae el TDAH en los pacientes y en los padres; eliminando las futuras adversidades que se presentan en base a esto.
