En la literatura se justifica el por qué no hay una adecuada adherencia a las guías de práctica clínica (GPC) a pesar de evidencia que la soporte. Entender estas barreras ha permitido en otros países realizar intervenciones multifacéticas con un impacto significativo sobre la adherencia a una correcta tromboprofilaxis.
