La conclusión fue que la adición de esteroides a una estrategia de ventilación mecánica protectora pulmonar fue asociada a una tendencia a reducir la mortalidad, además la nutrición enteral inmunomoduladora mostró una pequeña pero significativa disminución de la mortalidad.
