Validez de la RT – PCR comparada con un patrón de oro compuesto. Incluimos pacientes con derrame pleural tipo exudado linfocitario. Se consideró diagnóstico de TBP si el paciente tenía mínimo una de tres pruebas positiva: Zielh-Neelsen o cultivo para MTb en líquido o tejido pleural o biopsia pleural; se descartó TBP si las tres pruebas eran negativas. Resultados. RT – PCR mostró una sensibilidad del 66,7%, una especificidad del 93,5%, un VPP de 75% y un VPN de 90,6%. Conclusiones.
