La tradición neo-Durkheimiana en la teoría sociológica contemporánea puede contribuir a dar cuenta de dicho fenómeno con importantes consecuencias heurísticas sobre el desarrollo de la sociología económica.The new economic sociology has traditionally viewed the market as a deculturalized and desocialized space. Despite the most recent efforts to recover the cultural and non-instrumental dimension of the market, scholars seldom have recognized that cultural reenchantment of the market often takes a religious form.
