En Colombia, las publicaciones se limitan a reportes de casos, lo cual nos plantea la necesidad de establecer como es el comportamiento de esta patología en nuestro medio Objetivo: Describir la epidemiología local, las características clínicas y paraclínicas y los desenlaces de la neumonía adquirida en la comunidad por Staphylococo aureus meticilino resistente de los pacientes ingresados al servicio de urgencias de la Fundación Cardioinfantil en el periodo comprendido entre 2010 y 2012.
