Mediante una clara revisión de literatura y la construcción del estado del arte actual sobre el papel del yuan a nivel internacional, se encontró que China enfrenta problemas internos que ralentizan la internacionalización del renmibi y su posicionamiento como moneda de reserva internacional, sin embargo, China cuenta también con grandes ventajas como su tamaño y sus estrategias comerciales. A partir de esto, se concluye que China debe incentivar la internacionalización de su moneda a partir de reformas políticas y monetarias, junto con la flexibilidad de su tipo de cambio y la apertura de la cuenta de capital. A su vez, se debe reformar las estrategias comerciales con el fin de beneficiarse de la confianza internacional que esto pueda generar.
