Los estudios reportados, no aportan conclusiones firmes sobre la superioridad de una vasoactivos frente a otro y su elección es con base al criterio médico y al recurso local. Se describió la experiencia local del uso de Terlipresina como tratamiento médico farmacológico de pacientes con sangrado digestivo alto de origen variceal.
