Description
Summary:This study evaluates the technical efficiency and productivity growth in publishing industry in Bogotá during the period 2000-2007, by applying the boundary technique of deterministic data envelopment analysis (DEA acronyms in English). For this, we construct a balanced panel data based on information from the Annual Manufacturing Survey. With the decomposition of the Malmquist index we quantify the contribution of technical efficiency and productive change in the industry for the period of study to productivity.
