description This article presents the initial results of a study whose purpose is to develop a behavioral forecast of the Covid-19 pandemic in the department of Boyacá using GeoGebra, OriginPro8, and Excel software. The data recorded by the Boyacá Health Secretary and by the National Institutes of Health in a period of 108 days since the first cases appeared, are classified according to the number of confirmed, infected, recovered, and deceased cases. A quantitative methodology with a documentary approach is used in order to create a deterministic strategy with a statistical balance. The result is an analysis and a projection of growth in the cases of Covid-19 based on exponential mathematical models, diagrams, and curves that represent the various phenomena that influence the statistical study and their variations according to the measures adopted by the Boyacá community.

Como fundamento se tienen los datos registrados por la Secretaría de Salud de Boyacá y por el Instituto Nacional de Salud en un periodo de 108 días, desde que aparecieron los primeros casos, clasificados según el número de casos confirmados o infectados, recuperados y fallecidos. Se usa una metodología cuantitativa con un enfoque documental y se da a conocer una estrategia determinística en el balance estadístico. Así, se tiene como resultado un análisis y una proyección de crecimiento de los casos de covid-19, basada en modelos matemáticos exponenciales, diagramas y curvas que representan los diversos fenómenos que influyen en el estudio estadístico y sus variaciones según las medidas adoptadas por la comunidad boyacense.O presente artigo expõe os resultados parciais de uma pesquisa cujo propósito é desenvolver um prognóstico de comportamento da pandemia pela covid-19 no departamento de Boyacá, com ajuda dos softwares GeoGebra, OriginPro8 e Excel. Como fundamento contamos com os dados registrados pela Secretaria de Saúde de Boyacá e pelo Instituto Nacional de Saúde em um período de 108 dias, desde que apareceram os primeiros casos, classificados segundo o número de casos confirmados ou infectados, recuperados e falecidos. Usa-se uma metodologia quantitativa com um enfoque documental e dá-se a conhecer uma estratégia determinística no balanço estatístico.
