These collaborations, composed by notes and accounts, became the milestone of his initiation as a writer within cultural journalism. The purpose of the article is to portray the corpus of materials surveyed in the archive research, unknown to specialized readers, and to examine the critic’s image depicted in them from a biographical perspective, that is, incorporating the biographical process into the writing of the article. This perspective not only allows to replenish his initial self-figurations but also to conjecture around the circumstances that would have transformed him into a Barthesian criticA mediados de los años 1950, el joven Nicolás Rosa colabora en el diario Democracia de la ciudad de Rosario. Estas colaboraciones, compuestas de notas y relatos, marcan su ingreso a la escritura a través del periodismo cultural. El propósito del artículo es caracterizar el corpus de materiales relevados en la búsqueda de archivo, desconocido para los lectores especializados, y examinar la imagen de crítico que se perfila en ellos, a partir de una perspectiva biográfica, es decir, incorporando el proceso biográfico a la escritura del artículo.
