It is important to note also that the article studies the role played by various courts in this matter.El presente trabajo desarrolla una línea de estudio en torno a la normatividad vigente para la protección del trabajador en materia de seguridad social. En primera instancia trata los fundamentos constitucionales e internacionales donde se plasma una serie de principios que van a regir dicho sistema, además estudia de manera muy amplia las leyes de seguridad social de nuestro país y los sistemas de protección que estas establecen a favor del trabajador, así como las obligaciones de este y el empleador.
