The students identify problems that can be susceptible of the development of a project taking into account the steps of a technological process. The articulation of theory and practice is obtained as a result during the develop- ment of the technology fair which has generated positive changes in concept and development of the area, as fundamental basis on thought processes, so that its importance is analyzed in educative institutions, by answering the different contexts and necessities.Este artículo describe el trabajo del área de Fundamentos y Didácticas de la Tec- nología e Informática, en la formación de Licenciados en Educación Básica, la me- todología de trabajo se realiza por medio de proyectos, partiendo de los referentes teóricos que soportan el área en cuanto a la estructura curricular, la didáctica y los ambientes para el desarrollo de la misma. Los estudiantes identifican problemas que sean susceptibles del desarrollo de un proyecto teniendo en cuenta las fases del proceso tecnológico.
