description Spa: Esta investigación presenta un análisis de alcance correlacional entre liderazgo y desempeño administrativo en la alta gerencia y en la media gerencia de la U.P.T.C. de Tunja, implementando la teoría de liderazgo transaccional y transformacional de (Bass & Avolio, 1994). El proceso contó con la participación de cinco decanaturas y siete programas académicos de pregrado que facilitaron la recolección de la evidencia empírica. Los objetivos abordaron los niveles descriptivo y correlacional, adicionalmente se realiza una comparación de orden descriptivo entre los estilos de liderazgo de la alta y media gerencia de la U.P.T.C. y el estado de acreditación de calidad o de registro calificado que presenten para el año 2019 los programas seleccionados. Organizacionalmente se encontró un predominio del liderazgo transformacional para la muestra seleccionada, y un mayor grado de implementación del liderazgo transformacional en la alta gerencia que en la media gerencia. Con las hipótesis tres y cuatro surgieron los hallazgos más importantes: la existencia de una fuerte correlación en la media gerencia entre el liderazgo y el desempeño administrativo, pero en contraste, tal correlación no existe en la alta gerencia. En otro de los resultados se explica cómo la relación entre líder y seguidor es paradójicamente más clara y más saludable en la alta gerencia que en la media gerencia. En similar comparativa, la alta gerencia se inclina más por la aplicación de medidas de eficiencia que por la aplicación de medidas de liderazgo en su actividad gerencial. Sobre el estado de acreditación de los programas académicos, se encontró que dos de los tres programas de la muestra que cuentan con registro calificado, de forma coincidente presentan los más bajos puntajes en las variables del modelo aplicado. Se recomiendan futuras investigaciones que permitan profundizar en hallazgos de correlación entre el sistema de acreditación y el concepto de liderazgo.

Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Tunja. https://repositorio.uptc.edu.co//handle/001/9679https://repositorio.uptc.edu.co//handle/001/9679Spa: Esta investigación presenta un análisis de alcance correlacional entre liderazgo y desempeño administrativo en la alta gerencia y en la media gerencia de la U.P.T.C. de Tunja, implementando la teoría de liderazgo transaccional y transformacional de (Bass & Avolio, 1994). El proceso contó con la participación de cinco decanaturas y siete programas académicos de pregrado que facilitaron la recolección de la evidencia empírica. Los objetivos abordaron los niveles descriptivo y correlacional, adicionalmente se realiza una comparación de orden descriptivo entre los estilos de liderazgo de la alta y media gerencia de la U.P.T.C. y el estado de acreditación de calidad o de registro calificado que presenten para el año 2019 los programas seleccionados. Organizacionalmente se encontró un predominio del liderazgo transformacional para la muestra seleccionada, y un mayor grado de implementación del liderazgo transformacional en la alta gerencia que en la media gerencia. Con las hipótesis tres y cuatro surgieron los hallazgos más importantes: la existencia de una fuerte correlación en la media gerencia entre el liderazgo y el desempeño administrativo, pero en contraste, tal correlación no existe en la alta gerencia. En otro de los resultados se explica cómo la relación entre líder y seguidor es paradójicamente más clara y más saludable en la alta gerencia que en la media gerencia. En similar comparativa, la alta gerencia se inclina más por la aplicación de medidas de eficiencia que por la aplicación de medidas de liderazgo en su actividad gerencial. Sobre el estado de acreditación de los programas académicos, se encontró que dos de los tres programas de la muestra que cuentan con registro calificado, de forma coincidente presentan los más bajos puntajes en las variables del modelo aplicado.
