The situation suggests that the Colombian business community needs a systematic review of sustainability policies, particularly in relation to the type of employment it is providing, given that work is a highly influential aspect of individuals lifeTeniendo en cuenta la calidad del empleo como parte del concepto integral de sostenibilidad empresarial, el presente artículo demuestra a través del análisis de datos oficiales, que en Colombia se presentan diferencias considerables en cuanto a la inclusión social de los empleados de su sistema productivo. Las conclusiones obtenidas evidencian que los más excluidos poseen empleos de inferior calidad, como muestra de la precariedad laboral presente en el país.
