Macroinvertebrates are very important organisms in aquatic environments. They are responsible for the circulation of autochthonous organic matter from algae and non-native species in the basin and used in the biomonitoring of rivers and lakes. In order to determine the amount of deterioration in aquatic ecosystems and their importance in monitoring water quality, ten water samples were taken from different streams belonging to the provinces of Márquez and Lengupá located in the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia. This provided a very representative view of the community of different types of macroinvertebrates in the area. Additionally, the study was aimed at understanding their importance through their life cycle as well as taking into account various diagnostic characteristics to help identify issues. |

Este grupo tiene gran relevancia, ya que de ellos depende la circulación de materia orgánica autóctona provenientes de algas y alóctona proveniente de la cuenca. A la vez, son utilizados en el biomonitoreo de ríos y lagos. Teniendo en cuenta el deterioro de los sistemas acuáticos y la importancia de hacer un seguimiento de su estado, en el presente estudio se tomaron diez muestras de agua en diferentes quebradas pertenecientes a las provincias de Márquez y de Lengupá ubicadas en la Cordillera Oriental, en el costado oriental, con el fin de dar a conocer a la comunidad en general los géneros y las familias más representativos de macroinvertebrados de la zona. A la vez, se busca saber su importancia a través de su historia de vida. También se tuvieron en cuenta algunos caracteres diagnósticos que ayudan a su identificación. Os macroinvertebrados são organismos de grande importância para os sistemas aquáticos. Este grupo tem grande relevância, uma vez que depende da circulação de matéria orgânica autóctone de algas e aláctone da bacia. Ao mesmo tempo, eles são usados no biomonitoramento de rios e lagos. Tendo em conta a deterioração dos sistemas aquáticos e a importância de monitorar seu estado, no presente estudo, dez amostras de água foram tomadas em diferentes ravinas pertencentes às províncias de Márquez e de Lengupá, localizadas no alcance da cordilheira oriental, no lado leste, a fim de tornar públicos os mais representativos gêneros e famílias de macroinvertebrados na área geralmente conhecidos. Ao mesmo tempo, procura saber sua importância através de sua história da vida.
