Una función más del arte y la educación artística hoy

Ante el fenómeno de la globalización y la pérdida de características propias de una cultura y una región, la educación artística y el arte tendrían como una más de susfunciones hacer posible pensar, reflexionar, investigar y proponer desde la región y sus prácticas culturales. Boyacá es un centro cultural por naturaleza y condición, hamantenido durante siglos un fuerte legado que hoy tiende a desaparecer, por desconocimiento y por hipercodificación de prácticas que no obedecen a las conexiones mentales ni vitales de sus habitantes. Al reflexionar sobre toda la riqueza de la región, como en el taller de prácticasculturales, es posible pensar y rescatar esta metodología –la del taller–, donde sujetos, objetos y comunidades hacen y consolidan su identidad y donde las posibilidades del arte y la educación artística se vuelven infinitas, una propuesta donde la región se aprende de lo que se es. En síntesis, desde un lenguaje contemporáneo ayudar avalidar y resignificar lo que somos, no como individuos, sino como comunidades. Palabras clave: Educación artística, Prácticas culturales.Abstract When facing the globalization phenomenon and the loss of our own characteristics of a culture and a region, the artistic and the art education should have as one more of their functions to create the possibility to think, reflect, and propose from the region and its cultural practices. Boyacá is a cultural center which by its nature and condition, has kept during centuries a strong legacy that today tends to disappear, due to denial and hiper codification of practicesthat do not obey to their habitants mental an vital connections. When reflectioning about all the regionalriches, as in the cultural practice’s shop, it is possible to think and recover that methodology –of the shop-, wheresubjects, objects and communities make and consolidate their identity and where the art and the artistic educationpossibilities become infinite, a proposal where the region is apprehended from which it is. In short, to help from acontemporary language to validate and re- signify what we are, not as individuals but as communities.Key words: Artistic Education, Boyacá, Cultural Practices.
