Patrimonio geológico , una nueva veta para geoturismo

La reflexión en torno al patrimonio geológico y el geoturismo surge en el contexto del proyecto “Diseño de una ruta Geoturística en el Anillo de los Dinosaurios, departamentode Boyacá”, derivado del convenio entre el Instituto Colombiano de Geología y Minería INGEOMINAS y la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia UPTC, por medio del Grupo de Investigación para la Animación Cultural MUISUATA, de la Escuela de Administración Turística y Hotelera. De acuerdo con lo anterior, en este escrito se abordaron conceptos importantes: sobre patrimonio geológico, que permiten dar cuenta de sus definiciones y los aspectos que lo integran, y sobre geoturismo, los aportes que genera al medio geográfico, así como a lo social, cultural y medioambiental. Palabras clave Patrimonio geológico, geoturismo.AbstractThe reflection on the geological heritage and Geotourism comes in the context of the project “Design of a Geotourist route in the Ring of the Dinosaurs, in Boyacá Department”,derived from the agreement between the Colombian Institute of Geology and Minin Semilleros Revista 19 de investigaciónINGEOMINASand the UPTC, through the Group of Research for the Cultural Animation MUISUATA, of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management. This paper addresses two important concepts: on geological heritage, that allows to give account of its definitions and the aspects comprising, and on Geotourism, its contributions to the geographical environment, as well as social, cultural and environmental aspects.KeywordsGeological heritage, Geotourism
