In this context, the main objective of this study is to analyze the incorporation process of the female physical culture in the educational environment of Panama during an important period and its role in the changes of the androcentric female social imaginary. This article is supported by the study and analysis of significant bibliographic and newspaper data collected.El artículo trata sobre la ardua y prolongada lucha de la mujer para vencer los obstáculos impuestos a su participación en la actividad deportiva en una sociedad concebida y normada bajo preceptos masculinos, al que identificamos como Imaginario Femenino Androcéntrico. En ese contexto el objetivo central de este estudio es analizar el proceso de incorporación de la cultura física femenina en el entorno educativo panameño en una etapa esencial y su papel en los cambios del imaginario social femenino androcéntrico. Para ello, se apoya en el estudio de una significativa información bibliográfica y hemerográfica recabada.Cet article analyse la lutte difficile et prolongée de la femme pour vaincre les obstacles leur empêchant de participer àl’activité sportive dans une société conçue et réglée par des préceptes masculins, ce que nous appelons Imaginaire Féminin Androcentrique. Dans ce contexte, l’objectif central de cette étude est celui d’analyser le processus d’incorporation de la culture physique féminine dans le milieu éducatif panamien dans une étape essentiel et son rôle dans les changements de l’imaginaire social féminin androcentrique.
