For the more shattered areas, the rehabilitation may be developed by means of the increase of the soils and the vegetable cover. In the Lateritic Slope, the ocurrence of latosols enables the utilization on the area for cultures and pastures.El  presente  trabajo  describe  la  integración  entre  los estudios  geológicos,  geomorfológicos  y  pedológicos para la rehabilitación de un área deteriorada por minería artesanal,  localizada  al  noroeste  del  estado  de Minas Gerais,  Brasil.  Para  las  áreas  que  presentan  mayor impacto,  se propone  su  rehabilitación por medio de  la recomposición de suelos y de la cobertera vegetal.
