She used an action-participatory research with a population of 25 students. For the collection of information, a diagnostic test, field diaries, individual and collaborative work formats and information analysis were used.  The results showed that the strategy had a positive impact, since it allowed significant improvements in the processes of solving problem situations. In conclusion, the aforementioned theory is an effective means to strengthen verbal, mathematical and personal skills. It used an action-participatory research with a population of 25 students. In conclusion, the aforementioned theory is an effective means to strengthen verbal, mathematical and personal skills.El presente artículo está enfocado en examinar los resultados de la implementación de una  estrategia pedagógica en búsqueda del   fortalecimiento del razonamiento verbal en la resolución de problemas matemáticos, tomando como fundamento  la Teoría de las Situaciones Didácticas de Guy Brousseau, esto debido a las dificultades que han venido presentando  los estudiantes del INEM Tunja en competencias verbales y matemáticas conllevando  a bajos resultados    en las diferentes pruebas externas presentadas. Utilizó una investigación de acción-participativa con una población de 25 estudiantes. Para la recolección de información utilizó una prueba diagnóstica, diarios de campo, formatos de trabajo individual, colaborativo y de análisis de la información.  En los resultados se pudo evidenciar que la estrategia tuvo un impacto positivo, ya que permitió mejoras significativas en los procesos de resolución de situaciones problema.
