Thus, the objective of this article is to analyze the nature of this right, its usefulness, and the material and substantial obstacles that limit its effective recognition as an expression of the rights of association and collective bargaining in the Colombian legal system.La huelga, entendida como un derecho constitucional mediante el cual un grupo importante de trabajadores, sindicalizados o no, realizan una cesación colectiva del trabajo, con el fin de presionar al empleador para lograr objetivos económicos y profesionales, reúne las características universalmente reconocidas para ser catalogado como derecho humano.
