Though these Meetings were trying to defend the rights of Fernando VII, in the practice they turned into the irst mechanism of political expression of the creoles, since later they transformed in autonomous meetings of government that gradually proclaimed the independence and consolidated the irst constitutional projects.El presente texto se pregunta por la forma en que se organizó la Junta Suprema de Caracas, que se convirtió en la primera forma de autonomía gubernamental y en una expresión independentista.
