The idea of dealing with the great jurists, was none other than the rescueof their thought, their work and their legacy; which ideology remains valid. Luis Carlos Pérez is one of them, known as “The political crime theorist”, author of a monumental legal work of the Colombian Penal law which is analyzed in other countries.El pensamiento jurídico y las ideas son el resultado de procesos de larga reflexión y una maduración mesurada, ideas expuestas y defendidas en foros y escritos, pero siempre esas ideas ocurren en torno a realidades sociales que influyen en ese proceso, las ideas y su análisis detenido, son el resultado del método deductivo. La idea de ocuparnos de los grandes juristas, no fue otra que la de rescatar su pensamiento, su obra y su legado, cuyo ideario sigue aún vigente.
