Hence, to ensure the exercise of this democracy, the exercise of presidential power must be limited to a reasonable period, without re-election, to strengthen political parties, that invigorates democracy.El caudillismo es el régimen político que caracteriza la cultura política latinoamericana, y la reelección es un instrumento utilizado por los defensores de este sistema, para mantenerse en el poder en detrimento de la democracia republicana.
