description This article shows a theoretical approach to and a description of some contributions of a work of transformation of educational and sociocultural reality carried out by a group of people and institutions, among which are San Buenaventura University, Antioquia Museum, Ediarte Inc. and Antioquia University. Such intervention aims at contributing to the improvement of Artistic Education quality in Antioquia and the nation. In order to understand the significance of these Gatherings, a short historical framework is explained in which global and regional processes of academic activities having an impact on the structure of the Artistic Education field are pointed out. Likewise, some perspectives in the definition of artistic education are tackled and then a definition of Pierre Bourdieu´s concept of fieldis presented. Therefore, Meaningful Experiences Gatherings in Artistic Education (MEGAE) are presented and the three first gatherings are described. Finally, it is shown the panorama of the contributions of the gatherings both in the theoretical formulation and relational structure of the field.

Esta intervención tiene como objetivo contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de laEducación Artística en Antioquia y en el país. Para comprender los alcances de los Encuentros se hace un breve encuadre histórico que narra el devenir global y regional de actividades académicas que inciden en la conformación del campo de la Educación Artística. Se abordan algunas perspectivas en la definición de la educación artística para presentar luego una definición del concepto de campo retomando a Pierre Bourdieu. Considerando lo anterior, se presentan los Encuentros de Experiencias Significativas en Educación Artística (EESEA) y se hace una descripción de los tres primeros. Por último se muestra el panorama de los aportes de los Encuentros tanto en la formulación teórica como en la conformación relacional del campo.Cet article présente une approximation théorique et la description de certaines contributions d’un travail de transformation de la réalité éducative et socioculturelle réalisé par un groupe de personnes et d’institutions, parmi lesquelles on distingue: L’Université de San Buenaventura, le Musée d’Antioquia, Ediarte S.A, et l’Université d’Antioquia. Cette intervention a pour objectif de contribuer à l’amélioration de la qualité de l’Éducation Artistique dans le département d’Antioquia et dans le pays. Pour comprendre la portée de ces Rencontres l’on réalise un bref tableau historique qui raconte le devenir global et régional des activités académiques qui interviennent dansla formation du champ de l’Éducation Artistique. Certaines perspectives de définition de l’éducation artistique sont abordées pour ensuite présenter une définition du concept de champs en référence à Pierre Bourdieu. Vu ce qui précède les Rencontres d’Expériences Significatives en Éducation Artistique (EESEA) sont présentées et il est fait une description des trois premières. Pour terminer, l’on montre le panorama des apports des Rencontres tant en ce qui concerne la formulation théorique que la conformation relationnelle du champ.O artigo apresenta uma aproximação teórica e a descrição de alguns aportes de um trabalho de transformação da realidade educativa e sociocultural feito por um grupo de pessoas e instituições, entre elas a Universidad San Buenaventura, o Museu de Antioquia, Ediarte S. A, e a Universidad de Antioquia. A intervenção tem como objetivo contribuir ao melhoramento da qualidade da educação artística em Antioquia e o país. Para compreender os alcances dos encontros se faz um breve histórico que narra o acontecer global e regional de atividades acadêmicas que incidem na conformação do campo da educação artística. Abordamse algumas perspectivas na definição da educação artística para apresentar a seguir uma definição do conceito de campo, segundo Perre Bourdieu.
